Less than a week after Apple TV+ dropped the final episode of "Ted Lasso," the streamer is getting fans' hopes up. On Tuesday morning, Apple TV+ tweeted a photo of characters Coach Beard, Roy Kent and Nathan played by Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein and Nick Mohammed. The photo was captioned "Smells like potential.""I believe in this show coming back," tweeted one fan. "Don't play with my feelings, that's not fair!" another fan wrote. "Are you serious right now? After watching the finale that literally put me in all my feels and then some. I would be so very happy for more because it is that good and deserving of more. If this is true, I am over the moon, and I really hope more happens," another tweeted. Mohammed retweeted the photo with an emoji with its mouth zipped, which seemed to hint that there was a chance. While "Ted Lasso" is over, cast members have hinted to KTLA on separate occasions that the door is still, somewhat, open. “It’s very easy to keep going, but if it’s all she ...Judge blocks Florida ban on trans minor care

The lawsuit challenges the law Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed shortly before he announced a run for president.“The elephant in the room should be noted at the outset. Gender identity is real. The record makes this clear,” Hinkle said, adding that even a witness for the state agreed.Transgender medical treatment for minors is increasingly under attack in many states and has been subject to restrictions or outright bans. But it has been available in the United States for more than a decade and is endorsed by major medical associations.Hinkle’s ru...Officials: Fire guts clubhouse at Lake Chabot Golf Course in Oakland

Now, there’s a backlash

By Nadia Lopez | BloombergIt took less than 90 days for the oil and gas lobby to blow up one of Gavin Newsom’s major achievements. The California governor signed a bill to great fanfare in September to block new oil and gas wells within 3,200 feet of homes, schools and hospitals, cementing an effort that took decades for environmentalists to push through against business and union interests. But that’s when the California Independent Petroleum Association went to work. Representing 300 oil and gas producers, the organization quickly raised $21 million to recruit people to collect signatures — at shopping malls, farmers’ markets and grocery stores — and get enough support to put the issue to voters. The petitioners obtained 687,058 valid names, surpassing the threshold needed to put Senate Bill 1137 to a referendum in 2024 and placing Newsom’s new law on hold. The price tag for the industry: about $20 per signature. Now that effort is sparking backlash, not only from Newsom, a Democrat w...Three people killed in South Bay crime spree identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - With warmer temperatures moving into the Central Valley, it is essential to keep your pets safe from the heat - and a hot car is somewhere they can get especially hot.According to a state law passed in 2016, a person can not leave or confine an animal in "any unattended motor vehicle under conditions that endanger the health or well-being of an animal."California penal code 597.7 says endangering conditions include heat, cold, lack of ventilation, lack of food or water, or “other circumstances that could reasonably be expected to cause suffering, disability, or death to the animal.” Can a person take matters into their own hands if they see a pet trapped inside a hot car? The answer is yes.A "Good Samaritan Law" allows you to use any reasonable means necessary to rescue the animal which could mean breaking a window without having to pay for damages or face criminal charges. MIAMI (AP) — Erik Spoelstra has preached about the value of adversity for months, not shying away from saying that it helped the Miami Heat get to these NBA Finals. And now Denver is dealing with a little taste of it as well.Game 3 of the NBA Finals is Wednesday night in Miami, the series between the eighth-seeded Heat and top-seeded Nuggets knotted at a game apiece. It got that way after Miami rallied to win Game 2 in Denver 111-108 on Sunday night, an outcome that prompted Nuggets coach Michael Malone to openly share frustrations — primarily over a lack of discipline on a lot of possessions.“We had a really good film session this morning,” Malone said Tuesday. “I gave an opportunity for everybody on our team to speak and talk about what they saw on the film. It was a very honest conversation. Guys owned what they needed to own. We have to learn from Game 2 to use it to our advantage.”In other words, Denver needs to do what Miami did coming out of Game 1.The Heat faced significant d...Latest news
